Instead of Christmas cards, we're raising money for Rainbows
Instead of sending Christmas cards, we're raising money for Rainbows as a company.
For the last seven years the employees of SLS have used the money usually spent on sending Christmas cards for colleagues as a contribution towards supporting the Rainbows Children’s Hospice in Loughborough. SLS also support this program with a corporate donation of £100 to start the fund rolling. Each year, your generous donations have resulted in contributions of several hundreds of pounds to this incredible organisation so they can continue to do such fantastic work supporting those who need it most.

We raised £178.38 for Children in Need!
On Friday 17th November, we held a Pudsey Bear Picnic, played office bingo and even wore fancy dress (or maybe just some Pudsey ears!), all to raise money for Children in Need.
Our fundraising efforts resulted in a donation of £178.38, which we are very pleased with.

Dutscher Scientific Products Now Available From Scientific Laboratory Supplies
In July 2016, Scientific Laboratory Supplies Ltd (SLS) merged with Dominique Dutscher to create Europe’s largest independent laboratory distributor. Since that time, Dutscher Scientific UK (DSUK) have continued to operate independently in the UK market. With effect from the 1st of May 2017, DSUK will become wholly owned by the SLS Group and their activities will be merged into SLS.

SLS Helps Raise Money for Cancer research
Members of staff at SLS have have been fundraising for the 1in2 Day by dressing up, having a samosa sale and playing bingo, all in support of the John Van Geest Cancer Research Centre and Nottingham Trent University.
The annual 1in2 Day helps to raise funds for the lifesaving work carried out by Nottingham Trent University and the John Van Geest Centre. The day is named in recognition of the statistic that at least 1in2 of us are now predicted to be diagnosed with cancer at some point in our lifetime.
