We are thrilled to announce that Julie Roberts has been appointed to the Scientific Laboratory Supplies (SLS) Board of Directors, assuming the role of Procurement Director. Julie will work closely alongside the SLS Board to drive innovation and operational excellence in procurement.

Following a rigorous selection process that attracted exceptional candidates from both within and outside the organisation, Julie emerged as the clear choice. Julie joined SLS in May 2008 and has since been instrumental in leading our Key Accounts team for the past 15 years. She is a long-standing member of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (CIPS) and brings over 30 years of laboratory industry and procurement expertise.

Julie’s deep understanding of our operations and proven leadership capabilities, make her the ideal choice to lead our Procurement team with agility and impact. With her open and supportive leadership style, strategic vision, and dedication to customer service excellence, we are confident she will drive the development of a world-class procurement operation, strengthening our function and ensuring the continued success of SLS.
