Lab Innovations 2021 was a great opportunity for us and our stand partners to showcase fantastic innovative and sustainable laboratory solutions.

We were absolutely thrilled to win the Most Impactful Sustainable Product Development at the Lab Awards with our winning product Jellagen, a marine biotechnology range of collagen products manufactured from derived from a UK sourced Jellyfish (Rhizostoma pulmo). Jellagen's objective is to supply a sustainable source of critical biomaterials which do not carry the environmental and human health risks of traditional collagen sources.

We were also shortlisted for two other award categories: Most Impactful Emerging Technology and Best Stand.

With our pledge to focus on sustainability at the show, we wanted to plant trees to create a restorative impact for nature by planting one tree for visitor to our stand. In recognition of our Kenyan colleagues at our SLS East Africa office, we have planted 315 trees in the Kijabe forest in partnership with One Tree Planted. 

We’re counting down the days to next year’s Lab Innovations, and we can’t wait to have another successful show in November 2022. We look forward to welcoming you again next year and planting even more trees!
