Ice-free bench top cooling workstations providing sample cooling or freezing without ice, electricity or batteries. Cooling Workstation systems are versatile and accommodate a variety of sample formats and temperatures. The modular design enables the use of CoolRack™ sample modules to hold microfuge tubes, cryogenic vials, PCR tubes or plates, and more.

• Small footprint ideal for use in the hood especially in keeping temperature sensitive solutions cold
• To extend the cooling/freezing duration, keep an additional cooling/freezing core in the freezer and replace the cartridge as needed
• Available in single capacity (XT models) or double capacity (2XT models)
• Includes CoolBox™ base, collar, lid and either a freezing core or a cooling core (1 x core included with single capacity workstations, 2 x cores included with double capacity workstations)

How it works:

• Freeze the cooling/freezing core in -20°C freezer
• Place frozen core in base/holder
• Rest CoolRack™ module on cartridge
• Module will equilibrate and maintain temperature via thermo-conductivity
• To extend the cooling/freezing duration, keep an additional cooling/freezing core in the freezer and replace the core as needed
• Dry ice may be used in place of the cores to create a compact snap freezing workstation
