Native alkaline phosphatase from human placenta.
Native alkaline phosphatase from human placenta. Homodimeric enzyme that hydrolyzes phosphate esters of primary and secondary alcohols, amines, and phenols. Useful in the hydrolysis of 5′-terminal phosphates of DNA and RNA. Active site contains a reactive serine.
