Anti-Mouse IgG (whole molecule)-FITC antibody may be used for immunofluorescent labeling of mouse spleen cells at a working antibody dilution of 1:32. For immunofluorescence of human ovarian adenocarcinoma cells stained with anti-integrin primary antibodies a working dilution of 1:50 was used. Immunolocalization of human spermatids was done using antibody dilution of 1:100. This antibody was also used for immunofluorescent tagging of leaf cells of Arabidopsis.

General description

IgG antibody subtype is the most abundant serum immunoglobulins of the immune system. It is secreted by B cells and is found in blood and extracellular fluids and provides protection from infections caused by bacteria, fungi and viruses. Maternal IgG is transferred to fetus through the placenta that is vital for immune defence of the neonate against infections Anti-Mouse IgG (whole molecule)-FITC antibody is specific for all mouse IgG subclasses. Affinity isolated antigen specific antibody is obtained from sheep anti-mouse IgG antiserum by immunospecific purification. The antibody preparation is then conjugated to Sigma Fluorescein Isothiocyanate (FITC), Isomer I.
