Internal cartridge for use with the CoolBox™ cooling workstations, keeping samples cold/frozen. The cooling core (ICE4408) provides up to 16 hours of 0.5 to 4°C cooling with the lid on, and over 10 hours with the lid off in the CoolBox™ XT & 2XT cooling workstations. It provides up to 4 hours of cooling in the CoolBox™ XT Starter open platform cooling workstation. The freezing core provides up to 8 hours of below 0°C freezing with CoolBox™ XT & 2XT lid on, and over 5 hours with lid off.

How it works:

• Freeze the core in -20°C freezer until frozen
• Place frozen core in system base/holder
• Keeping the lid closed helps extend sample cooling/freezing duration
• Keep additional cooling or freezing cores in the freezer for flexibility and extended duration
