Epredia™ SuperFrost Plus™ adhesion slides are designed to secure tissue sections without the need for laboratory applied coatings. Slides secure frozen and formalin-fixed, paraffin embedded tissue sections as well as cytology preparations. Tissue loss during staining is minimised thereby resulting in quick turn-around times and reduced risk associated with tissue loss and repeat testing. SuperFrost™ slides are manufactured from extra-white soda-lime glass with very low iron content. Each slide features a chemistry similar to silane, although optimised to improve application performance. The printed tab ink is impervious to virtually all common laboratory chemicals and reagents.
