MyFi™ Mix is a ready-to-use 2x mix, specifically designed for high-fidelity amplification of up to 10kb of genomic DNA. Owing to its antibody-based hot-start property, MyFi Mix has the added convenience of room temperature reaction assembly, avoiding unwanted non-specific amplification and primer-dimer formation. This new hot-start enzyme preparation from Meridian Bioscience is supplied as a 2x formulation containing MyFi DNA Polymerase, dNTPs, MgCl2 and enhancers at optimal concentrations, removing the need for optimization and delivering superior amplification. MyFi Mix is based on our MyFi™ DNA Polymerase, which is recommended for higher-fidelity amplification and perfect for cloning fragments up to 10kb. MyFi Mix dramatically reduces the time needed to set up reactions, thereby minimizing the risk of contamination. Greater reproducibility is ensured by the reduction in the number of pipetting steps that can lead to pipetting errors.
