General description

Tetracaine hydrochloride is a local anesthetic drug and an ester derivative of p-amino benzoic acid. It acts by interfering with the entry of sodium ions into nerve cells and is one of the commonly used topical anesthetics.Pharmaceutical secondary standards for application in quality control, provide pharma laboratories and manufacturers with a convenient and cost-effective alternative to the preparation of in-house working standards.
