Clifton® shaking water bath, featuring analogue temperature and shaking speed control available with a broad range of accessory trays, flask clips and racks ensures flexibility for routine and specialised incubations. Accessory clips and racks can be mounted onto the perforated shelf which fits onto reciprocating stainless steel trolley. Flasks, micro titre plates and test-tube racks can easily be loaded and unloaded, lifting out the complete shelf. The trolley can also easily be removed for cleaning. The perforated tray is supplied as standard.
Shaking system is quiet in use and by removing the trolley and replacing with the perforated tray it can be used as a standard laboratory bath. The shaker trolley is stable in use, with a removable perforated shelf, unlike many traditional shaker baths where the whole shaker carriage has to be removed for loading and unloading. Clifton Shaker baths just require the perforated shelf, accessory clips and any installed glassware or consumables, to be removed making it lighter and easier to handle.
A useful stainless steel recessed tray can be used for standing flasks on prior to and after immersion.
Comprising of a high quality corrosion resistant stainless steel tank, with a bright clean finish housed in a durable paint finished outer case. Painted surfaces feature anti-bacterial finish, hygienic coating which actively inhibits bacterial growth, with good chemical resistance. Heaters are concealed under the tank providing a clutter free working area easy to wipe clean. The heating footprint covers underside base of the tank, its low mass provides rapid energy transfer; quicker heat up times and a reduction in energy consumption with improved temperature uniformity.
- Shaking control, analogue dial pointer, from 0 to 380rpm
- Stroke length variable up to 40mm opening the access port allows the stroke length to be varied
- 'Experiment protector', an adjustable over temperature device can be set a few degrees above the set working temperature, protecting your work/sampling from overheating/damage
- Thermal cut out fitted in the heater
- Bath fitted with non-slip rubber feet
- Above 60°C it is recommended that to achieve optimum performance the bath should be covered with a lid or layer of polypropylene spheres to reduce energy consumption and running costs
